Foreign policy attitudes in Hungary in 2023

The comprehensive foreign policy attitudes survey by Policy Solutions and FES reveals how the Hungarian public views the world in 2023. The aim of this study is to show how Hungarian society views the country's place in the world, and how it feels about key international issues, conflicts and actors. The publication presents what Hungarians believe should be the objectives that should guide the country's foreign policy and with which countries Hungary should closely cooperate. It also examines the visibility and popularity of the world's leading politicians and public figures in Hungary and analyses in detail the perception of the US and China. The research pays particular attention to mapping attitudes towards the Russian-Ukrainian war. In a panel discussion following the presentation of the study, the results will be interpreted with the help of renowned foreign policy experts.
