Genetics vs. socialization

There is a misconception among many groups in society that people are born with certain qualities and do not acquire them through socialization. This leads many to dismiss or underestimate the crucial role of the school system and public media in shaping citizens. In the first panel discussion of the series “Perceptions and Reality”, invited sociologists /Áron Márk Éber, Jozefa Zsanna Nyírő/ and Zsolt Boldogkői biologist (joins the conversation online) will discuss this problem.
