Dialogue on gender inequality: The politics of care

The starting point of our conference on 3 October 2016 was the idea that care for children, the sick and elderly is an integral part of human life and indispensable for social reproduction. It is not enough to encourage men to take their fair share in these responsibilities, we also need social systems that recognize the importance of care at their full value, and the growing pressure on our societies in relation to care.
