An internship with FES Budapest
FES Budapest encourages students in higher semesters of relevant subject areas to apply for an internship.
This provides the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the work of a German political foundation in Hungary, and to gain a deeper insight into the political and social culture of Hungary. The main topics are on the EU, democracy, economic and social policy, trade union support, and civil society as well as gender equality.
The internship includes individual mentoring support and involves amongst others the following tasks:
- Editing of German and English-language texts
- working with visitors; answering inquiries from Germany and Hungary, internet research on selected topics
- preparation, implementation and follow-up of FES and partner events
- Diverse clerical tasks
For communication, we expect very good both spoken and written German and English skills. Hungarian language skills are an advantage.
In any case, the applicants should have an interest in the work of a social-democratic, political foundation, commitment, organization, and work in team spirit. We also expect you to work reliably and independently. We require excellent PC knowledge and correct written expression and social-media skills.
