  • Declining collective bargaining coverage in Hungary (2012-2023)

The data show that collective bargaining coverage in the Hungarian labour market is small and declining, with workers having less and less say in the development of their working conditions. The professional reform presented in this study includes a review of the rules on trade union rights, collective bargaining capacity and the possible content of collective agreements.

  • The decline in the number of labour lawsuits in Hungary

Between 2010 and 2021, labour litigation in Hungary will decrease by more than 80%. In this study, we explore the legal reasons for this and propose ways to break down unnecessary legal barriers.
