Economic and Social Policy, Trade Union Cooperation

We are committed to an economic and social policy that aims at justice, sustainability and participation. In addition to contributing to a fair, democratic and sustainable development of economic and social policy in Hungary and Europe, we support the strengthening of trade unions and works councils so that they can fulfil their important role as social partners.

Our main partners in this work area are all trade union structures, employee representatives, advisory bodies and non-governmental organizations. The involvement of these partners in European-wide discourse is just as important to us as the highlighting of social relations in the area of economic and social policy and the promotion of working relationships. We therefore pay particular attention to the participation of disadvantaged groups in the world of labour.
