A Lockdown for Independent Media?
The Berlin-based Media NGO n-ost, in cooperation with the Budapest office of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), asked members of its journalists’ network from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia to reflect on how the pandemic has affected journalism in their countries. These journalists provide unique insights into their changed daily routines and operating contexts. The experiences and the consequences will be discussed by journalists, policy makers and politicians in two panels.
