Welche Zukunft haben die ungarische Automobilindustrie und ihre Beschäftigten? - diese Frage stellten sich Experten, Gewerkschafter und Industrievertreter am 2. Oktober 2018 in Budapest.
Das Impulsreferat hielt Rene‘ Bormann (FES-Bonn), Ko-Autor der Studie „Die Zukunft der Deutschen Automobilindustrie“. Demnach sind es vor allem vier Megatrends, die die Zukunft der Mobilität beeinflussen: zunehmende Urbanisierung, der Druck zu mehr Nachhaltigkeit, Individualisierung und Digitalisierung. Starke Entwicklungen in Richtung der Elektrifizierung insbesondere des Individualverkehrs, Automatisierung, das Wachstum des Sharing-Bereichs sowie von Mobilität als Dienstleistung stellen die Automobilindustrie vor neue Herausforderungen, welche sich auch auf die Beschäftigung auswirken. Mit dem Zukunftspakt Mobilität könnten die Herausforderungen auf integrative Weise die Bereiche Automobilindustrie und Mobilitätswende verzahnen und Akteure wie Kommunen, Bund, Industrie und Gewerkschaften einbinden.
Zoltán Pogátsa arbeitete die Bedeutung des Automobilsektors und dessen Zulieferer für die ungarische Wirtschaft und die Beschäftigten heraus. So sind ca. 10% des BIP auf diesen Sektor zurückzuführen, sowie 25% der ungarischen Exporte. Die beteiligten Unternehmen sind jedoch zum Großteil Glieder internationaler Wertschöpfungsketten und in den meisten Fällen sind es ausländische Entscheidungsträger, welche die betrieblichen Entscheidungen treffen.
Nach den Vorträgen konnten die Vertreter_innen von Gewerkschaften und Betriebsräten die gegenwärtige Situation in Ungarn sowie die zukünftigen Herausforderungen zusammen mit den Experten sowie dem Vertreter des Automobilindustrievereins diskutieren.
